Adelina Hasani studied the violin at the conservatories of her native city Durrës and of Tirana (Albania) were she graduated Cum Laude in 1992. She continued her studies at the Fiesole Music Academy in Florence, Italy with Piero Farulli and Renato Zanettovic mostly focussing on chamber music, but also taking part in master classes by Pavel Vernikov, Zinaide Gilels and Ilya Grubert. The latter invited her to study with him at the Rotterdam Conservatory in the Netherlands which she did from 1996. In Rotterdam Adelina complete her post-graduate violin studies Cum Laude in 2001 also having taken part in master classes by Zakar Bron, Tibor Varga and the renowned violin pedagogue David Takeno.

Adelina Hasani won prizes in the International Violin Competition G. Astarita Napoli (first price in 1996) and the International Violin Competition Andrea Postacchini (second price in 1999). She also successfully took part in various chamber music competitions. The International Chamber Music Competition Citta di Tortona (Duo Hasani – De Santis, first price in 1994), the International Competition Citta Di Gubbio (Duo Hasani – De Santis, second price in 1996), and the International Chamber Music Competition Casale Monferrato (String Quartet Hasani, first price in 1996).

From early on Adelina Hasani was active as a chamber musician. She was founder of the Hasani String Quartet and concertized as a duo with pianist Daniela De Santis. Between 2013 and 2016 her Ayur Piano Trio gave many concerts in the Netherland as well as in Turkey, and recorded two very well received cd’s with works by Tchaikovsky and Brahms. For their recording of Fazil Say’s piano trio Space Jump, Adelina Hasani closely worked together with the well known Turkish pianist and composer. She is currently active in the Rembrandt Piano Trio which she founded in 2017, giving concerts mostly in the Netherlands, Great Britain and India.

In 2002 Adelina Hasani became concertmaster of the Brabant Philharmonic Orchestra, now the South Netherlands Philharmonic. As a guest concertmaster she worked with orchestra’s such as Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, The Hague Philharmonic, Holland Symfonia (with whom she gave acclaimed solo performances in Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty), the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the Netherlands Philharmonic, the Belgian National Orchestra, Antwerp Symphony and the Symphony Orchestra of India, working with great conducters such as Charles Dutoitt, Marc Albrecht, Hartmut Haenchen, Alexander Lazarev, Riccardo Rizzi, Martyn Brabbins, Peter Ounjan, Marc Soustrot, Roy Goodman, Jean-Pierre Faber and Jean-Claude Casadesus.

As a soloist Adelina Hasani has appeared with the Brabant Philharmonic Orchestra, the South Netherlands Philharmonic, the TOB Orchestra of Tirana, the Marchigiana Symphony Orchestra as well as the Chamber Orchestras Galilei and Accademia San Felice.

Adelina Hasani lives in Amsterdam. She plays a violin by Pietro Guarneri of Venice, the ‘Ex Joseph Joachim’ from 1747

Rembrandt’s remarkable mastery of the interplay between light and dark, with frequent use of sharp contrast, chiaroscuro to draw the observer into the spectacle resulted in lively scenes, filled with drama that never failed to move the viewer in keeping with the painting style, the Rembrandt Piano Trio (formed in 2016 by Violinist Adelina Hasani, Cellist, Paul Uyterlinde and Pianist Fali Pavri) presents the abundantly rich piano trio repertoire in a harmonious collaboration, brimming with passion. The three players share a deep, rooted, abiding love of chamber music while fulfilling their various careers as soloists, university, professor and
leaders symphonic orchestra.
